Our Program
River Song's school year roughly follows the BUSD schedule and is broken up into three seasonal programs: Autumn, Winter, and Spring.
Each program runs approximately 12 weeks, with a consistant daily rhythm of free play and exploration,
Circle (songs, verses and movement), crafts, and oral storytelling integrating themes of the season at hand.
Autumn
A time of transition, harvest and seeds. We muster our courage to face the cold of winter, we gather together and express gratitude for all that we have.
Winter
We greet the shortest, darkest days by bringing our inner light, celebrating the warmth of the sun and tending the fire.
Spring
The world is waking up after a long sleep, it is the season of renewal and new beginnings. Time to plant seeds, listen to bird song and celebrate the arrival of new life.
Schedule Offerings
- Each Preschool program runs for approximately 12 weeks
- Drop off at 9am, pick up at 1pm
- 4 day per week option (Mon.-Thu.) $3,400
- 2 day per week option (Mon. & Wed. or Tue. & Thu.) $2,000
