Our Daily Rhythm

Everyday we follow a consistent daily rhythm. Within this reliable pattern, children are able to express emergent interests and teachers are able to observe teaching opportunities. 

Morning Wander

We start the day exploring the immediate area just outside our school spot.

Tea and Snack

Provided herbal tea (hot or cold depending on the day's weather) and healthy snacks. An opportunity to practice manors and participation in serving friends. 

Circle time

Song, verse and movement inspired by themes of the season.

Craft and Free play

Upcycled and high quality, natural materials illustrated themes from our circle and monthly story.

Story time

Each month we have a new oral story celebrating the themes of the season. Everyday the story is a little different, introducing emergent interests, lessons, and new characters. 

Lunch

Parent provided lunchtime, followed by the opportunity to assist in clean up and play until pick up.  

Schedule Offerings

 

  • Drop off at 9am, pick up at 1pm
  • Full time enrollment: 4 day per week option (Mon.-Thu.) 
  • Part time enrollment: 2-3 day per week option (Mon.- Thu.)
  • Pop-up Forest School sessions on Fridays follow the same daily rhythm as regular enrollment.

Upcoming Pop-up Forest School Sessions

Our pop-up Forest School days can be registered for as individual sessions. We follow our Forest School daily rhythm, welcoming in families that would like to try nature immersion, without the full commitment of enrollment. These sessions also offer the opportunity for parents to attend with their child, creating more of a collaborative and community building experience for families.
